Cat dot-to-dot (20 dots)

A sitting cat in outline — ears, back, tail — with the dots placed where the outline actually turns. That is the whole trick of a good dot-to-dot: put a dot on every corner and the drawing still looks like a cat when the pencil is lifted.

About this puzzle

Twenty dots is the count for a hand that is still learning to count: the numbers stay large, the gaps between them stay short, and the picture is recognisable long before the last line is drawn. The dots are chosen from the outline by keeping the corners that matter, which is why twenty of them are enough to hold the shape.
